Rihanna's father is not taking Chris Brown's proclamation of innocence sitting down.
Ronald Fenty unloaded to Us Magazine after hearing that Brown pleaded not guilty to beating his daughter in court yesterday.
"So what happened? Somebody else did this to Rihanna then?" Fenty asks. "I just would like to see justice go in the right direction."
Brown, Fenty adds, "needs to stop being in denial" about the alleged assault.
"I don't want his career to be damaged—it's damaged already," Fenty says of Brown, who was forced to bow out of this year's Kids' Choice Awards this year because of the controversy surrounding his alleged attack on Rihanna, says. "I think he's a talented guy, but everybody should have to pay. When you do the crime, you do the time. I don't want to see him locked up for a long time—I just want him to acknowledge and get some help."
That's a pretty generous sentiment, considering that Brown allegedly inflicted "horrific" injuries on Fenty's daughter.
Brown arrived at a courthouse in downtown Los Angeles on Monday to plead not guilty to two felony counts of assault and making criminal threats. The singer is accused of beating Rihanna on February 8, following an argument they'd had over text messages he'd received from another woman.
Brown will be back in court on April 29 for a preliminary hearing.

Rihanna's father better watch his commentary unless he wants to be on the receiving end from a Chris Brown left hook.
not guilty? NOT GUILTY? HOW STUPID DO YOU THINK WE ARE GIRLFRIEND, HAS YOUR WEAVE BEEN PUT IN PLACE TOO TIGHT THAT ITS MAKING YOU CRAZY? ITS SO OBVIOUS YOU WERE GUILTY. I CAN TELL YOU ARE ACTING ,BECAUSE OF YOUR HIDEOUS FROWN LINES, GET SOME WRINKLE CREAM GIRLFRIEND, AND GET A JOB AT MACDONALDS BECAUSE YOUR CAREER IS OVER.
Ronald Fenty needs to shup up now, he taught her to fight, for he fought her mother in her presence-Rihanna is over 21 years of age and can speak for herself. When you hit you are liable to get hit back ain't no law which says you can't hit back when you have been assulted.(take note) Chris Brown is still a minor he is under 21 years od age and if this case goes to trial he will have to be given a fair trial, regardless to what the so called jurors say, there is the Court of appeals, and he has the dough to put out.
I know this happen April 7 But i don't have alot of time on hand but when i do i like to read difference comments now i read that Rihanna and her father don't see eye to eye.so if Mr.Fenty want to put his 2cent let him seen like everybody else is
Hey Chris, move on. If your next girlfriend doesn't annoy you, you won't WANT to hit her. Therefore resulting in a lovely relationship. Rihanna's an idiot for staying with someone who disrespected her PERIOD.
