Lance Bass isn’t short of backhanded compliments from his fellow former boy banders.

The Dancing with the Stars contestant got some feedback from onetime ‘N Sync bandmate Chris Kirkpatrick recently at a Las Vegas charity event hosted by fellow alum Justin Timberlake.

“We used to joke with Lance because he was the worst dancer in the group,” Kirkpatrick told People, “but he’s amazing on the show.”

Sure he is, Chris, sure he is.

It turns out that Bass isn’t any easier on himself, either. When asked if he thinks Lance has a shot at winning, Kirkpatrick replied, “I think he does. I don’t know if he thinks he does. He’s really hard on himself.”

We can’t imagine why, with such validations you’re handing out, Chris!

Manatee County, Fla., records show the case was dropped last week. According to a police report filed at the time, Kirkpatrick was a passenger in a truck driven by Chris Rogers, who played defensive back for Alabama from 2006 to 2009.
