Chris Pine Suits Up for GQ

Well, whaddaya know? It turns out that Chris Pine looks pretty good out of the Captain Kirk uniform too.

The Star Trek actor plays dress-up for GQ magazine, trying on a variety of stylish suits to pretty up its pages.

He also pipes up on a variety of topics. Such as:

The ribbing that he's taken from his buddies since landing the Kirk role: "It’s pretty f*cking inescapable. I play basketball with a bunch of guys at 9:30 a.m. and it’s like, 'Yo, wussup, Captain Kirk!' I don’t have a smart comeback yet."

The importance of the original Star Trek series: "The kitsch factor in the original Star Trek series is high, but the show manages to take on these huge questions about race, sex, and war. I have a great appreciation for what Mr. Shatner did with the part. There’s a gravity to it, but he’s having fun."
