Forget the genie in the bottle—Christina Aguilera‘s looking for magic in a tube of lip gloss these days.

Star magazine reports that the singer is hooked on the stuff; during a recent meal at hot L.A. eatery the Ivy, the chanteuse polished her kisser more than 30 times.

“She would take a bite of her calamari, then reapply her gloss, then take a bite of bread and reapply again,” says the magazine’s source.

Kudos; Christina! Clearly you’re aware, like everyone else, that your smacker is one of your stand-out assets.

And nothing dries out a set of full, luscious lips like a night out on the town doing this.
