Christina Applegate: I Feel Pretty
Samantha Who?‘s Christina Applegate dazzled on the red carpet at the Emmys last night, and said that “feeling good is what life’s about,” according to People.
“It’s a great day… I’ve got a pretty dress on and lipstick, and [it's] something I haven’t done in two months,” the breast cancer survivor and Emmy presenter told Ryan Seacrest.
Applegate underwent a double mastectomy after her diagnosis this summer, and since then has declared that she is “100% cancer free.”
“It really feels good to be here… That’s what life’s all about,” she added.
Clad in a silk organza Reem Acra gown, Applegate explained that her battle with cancer caused her to realize that “things happen, and you have to sit back and really, really embrace your life.”
Despite not winning the Emmy for Best Actress in a Comedy (her co-star Jean Smart won for Supporting Actress), Christina is still a champion where it counts.
