Clooney Makes 'Time' to Power Brangelina

How impactful are Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie? Time magazine has deemed them so powerful they bust out of the "Artists & Entertainers" category of its "2008 Most Influential People" and into the "Heroes & Pioneers" realm.

George Clooney seconds that notion and has penned a little ditty proving it. Weaving together a tapestry of the couple's individual and collective global missions, Clooney says of his BFFs, "Hundreds of people could be honored for their good works, but I've seen Brad and Angelina firsthand, and their commitment is truly impressive."

What's unique about the Time 100 is each winner is given a vote of confidence in an intriguing pairing. For teen titan, Miley Cyrus, Donny Osmond writes whereof he speaks: "Miley will have to face adulthood. She'll want to change her image, and that will be met with adversity."

Stevie Wonder steps up for pink lady Mariah Carey: "She has a sexy classiness, perseverance and consistency, the ability to keep going and keep doing the right thing."

And worry not, gorgeous George, aka Mr. Darfur, is on the list, too, with a push from, of all potentials, his old sitcom boss Roseanne: "He can drink too much and still discuss the world with such passion and good sense you actually stop imagining him nude and really listen."
