Is Colin Farrell in some kind of scuzz-out contest with Mickey Rourke these days?

The Ask the Dust actor showed up in Rome for a photo-call to promote the upcoming Pride and Glory. His dessicated frame, gnarly locks and beat-up boots displayed little of either.

Sure, he lost 40 pounds to play a photojournalist in the upcoming Bosnia war flick Triage.

But if Farrell keeps going in this emaciation direction, displaced Bosnians are going to take up a collection to buy him a bar of soap and a razor.
