What is with the famous gals of today emulating Samatha Ronson‘s über-butch image?

Vogue‘s nearly 800-page Fall Fashion issue flaunts a close-cropped Keira Knightley on the cover. Keira and Ronson seem to have swapped locks for their recent magazine spreads.

Maybe lipstick Lindsay Lohan is suddenly a hot must-have for the ladies of Hollywood. They figure the hair cut’s the way to Lohan’s heart. Or maybe they’re just paying homage to Sam for taming LiLo’s once-wild ways.

In Keira’s case, it’s probably something less girl-on-girl-tastic. Like she’s auditioning for the My Fair Lady remake and wants to look like Audrey Hepburn. Audrey as a boy, that is.

After all, Knightley’s already stated that she’s not that into boobs.
