There were good times. There were bad times. There was nearly a Rose McGowan upskirt moment for the fanboys.

Comic-Con 2008 rolled up its cape for another year yesterday, reducing San Diego's geek population by an estimated 347 percent.

This year's festivities included a discussion from the cast of Heroes (including Hayden Panettiere, who somewhat graciously signed autographs for slobbering fans), along with visits from lonely-looking RocknRolla director Guy Ritchie, Death Race star Jason Statham, Chuck lead Zachary Levi, and Justin Long—who was most definitely not there to shill for the upcoming Drew Barrymore flick Whip It!

“If I imagine that I never heard Hayden's single "Wake Up Call" and that she wasn't wearing the most unfortunate dress ever, I can feel okay about Hayden Panettiere's appearance at Comic-Con in San Diego, California.

I don't think the audience cared much about her ensemble-- they were too busy being treated to a full-length Heroes premiere during the weekend panel presentation. We'll need to wait until the September the 22nd for that two-hour long spectacle filled with lots of new villains and things.

Did they ever deliver. Executive Proudcer Tim Kring previewed a 44-minute look at the start of Volume III (titled "The Second Coming").

Milo caused the most stir at the presentation. He even gave a fan a hug (probably an young and attractive female fan). One fan waved a sign that said "Milo we camped out 4 U all night."”
