Conan O'Brien and Team CoCo Land At TBS, Nation Rejoices
Fear not, Conan O'Brien fans; your favorite ginger funnyman is making his way back onto the small screen.
O'Brien, who was rudely ousted from his slot as the host of NBC's The Tonight Show earlier this year in favor of his predecessor, Jay Leno, has been snapped up for a show by TBS, which will begin airing in November. O'Brien will be bringing the laughs on Thursdays at 11 PM EST, getting a half-hour jump on his big-chinned nemesis Leno.
It had been widely assumed that O'Brien would sign a deal with Fox.
So what sort of shenanigans might audiences look forward to with this new venture? Sadly, we won't be getting any straight answers for the time being from O'Brien, who wisecracked about the deal on his Twitter account,
"The good news: I will be doing a show on TBS starting in November! The bad news: I'll be playing Rudy on the all new Cosby Show."
We're betting he'd look pretty good in the pigtails.
