Courtney Love: Totally Broke?
Despite the money rolling in from her deceased husband Kurt Cobain‘s estate, Courtney Love is apparently on the verge of destitution, according to British newspaper the Sun.
The paper reports that Love, who currently resides in New York’s Mercer Hotel and was barred from dipping into the trust fund set up for her and Cobain’s 17-year-old daughter Frances Bean, recently sent a desperate text to a friend. Love reportedly wrote, “I’m f*cked now dude. I have 120 bucks, my kid hasn’t had a decent meal and I’m getting evicted.”
A pal spills, “She has really hit rock bottom. She’s a financial disaster.”
In recent months it’s been revealed that Love is $350,000 in the hole to American Express, and in April it was reported that Courtney had employed a team of “forensic accountants” to track down and retrieve more than $30 million in allegedly pilfered cash.
Indeed, recent photographic evidence suggests that Love is now so broke that she can no longer afford underwear.
