Crumbling Building Causes Safety Scare on RPattz Set!
Robert Pattinson has definitely been suffering his fair share of brushes with danger while filming Remember Me in New York.
First the Twilight hunk was forced into the path of a moving cab by an unruly mob of fans.
And now, it’s been reported, the production of the movie was halted on Wednesday after a crumbling building caused chaos on location.
Firefighters rushed to the scene after a crack in the wall of an older building widened at the film’s downtown Manhattan location, triggering warning alarms that were set up to monitor the damage to the building. As five fire engines and a crew of 20 firefighters crowded into the area, production was forced to a halt while cast and crew looked on with bated breath.
“It’s causing a hold-up for the shoot,” said a source on the scene. “We can’t get anything in or out of here.”
RPattz, at least, seemed unrattled by the chaos.
“Robert was concentrating on his scene,” says a witness. “But most of the crew were staring nervously at the crack in the building and talking about whether it will fall down or not.”
We always knew that guy was one cool customer.
He should just take a few days off and go visit Kristen!

i knida wish it falls on her too….just that she doesnt die..but enough injured so she cant act in teh movie..n they have to get another leading lady..its just that i dont liek emilie…not because she is play love intrest in movie…its just i really dont liek her..

Ditto, she definitely gets on my nerves, flirting with him on the beach, get off him, go home to your husband and fix that before you move in on Kristen’s potential. I’ll be glad when he’s finished filming in NYC. I don’t think that’s the city for him. Nothing but bad luck for him. I think he’s hired more security thatn the president has to walk down the street. that’s pathetic, throws a bad light on all his fans, and there are many of us that wouldn’t act that deragned. I read that he signed some autographs for some girls who were waiting patiently and quietly while he filmed his scenes… Good for them. Yes, go be with Kristen. If we are all chomping at the bits, imagine how she feels watching those scenes… UGH! Pray he gets through this cruel summer… poor guy.
perfect. this guy’s never going to want to film here again. what’s worse, crumbling building or psychotic fans? hmmm.. tough one. well if I bump into him at the Bowery next week I’ll try to talk him down, lol
