Crystal Harris is Hefner’s New ‘Girl Next Door’
Playboy honcho Hugh Hefner brought his twin 19-year-old girlfriends Karissa and Kristina Shannon to the Los Angeles book signing of Mr. Playboy: Hugh Hefner and the American Dream and Playboy: The Complete Centerfolds at Barnes & Noble last month.
But now it’s been revealed who the blonde beauty pictured above on the far right is: Crystal Harris, a 22-year-old San Diego University psychology student.
The New York Daily News reports that Harris took to E!’s message boards to introduce herself to Girls Next Door fans over the holidays.
“Hef gave me permission to fill people in on the new updates as a voice from the mansion,” she wrote.
And while so far it’s just her, Karissa and Kristina in the Playboy mansion with 82-year-old publishing legend Hefner, Crystal wrote, “There are a couple that we have interest in… As for now, it is just us three.”
It’s been a complete changing of the guard in bunnyland lately. Girls Next Door stars Holly Madison and Kendra Wilkinson have escaped Hef’s clutches and gotten paired off. As for Bridget Marquardt; well, she occasionally comments to the press on Holly and Kendra’s relationships.
Hefner has confirmed that there will indeed be a sixth season of the E! reality series.

Yep, you can’t duplicate it. All three of the girls were fantastic, I didn’t know which one I liked best. Although my husband loved Kendra, I loved what they always had to say. Too Funny!

Show won’t be the same so I have no intention of watching. Hope the girls left and weren’t dumped because Hef suddenly thought this was a great business idea. With Kendra getting married seems the girls did the parting. Didn’t watch the show because of Hef (sorry Hef) rather it was how Kendra, Bridget, and Holly got along, they were the show.
Hef you need a fourth the three only equal 60 years. Try a brunette, redhead, or black haired female, this is the year of change.

It’s fine for older men, like 40 year olds, to date 20-something year olds, but he’s an 82 year old man dating 19 year old children who are only considered adults by legality. He’s 63 years older than them, and that’s old enough to be their great grandfather!! GROSS!!

I heard hef has a new girlfriend that he met on Feb 28, 2009 at the masquerade party. I saw them kissing and holding hands all night on the couch! and he even led her upstairs away from the party!

I agree with most people here. What was E! thinking? Die hard fans of the original GND will NOT be watching the show. Holly, Bridget and Kendra are the ONLY Girls Next Door and can’t be replaced by some younger girls.
The twins have no personality, and the three new girls don’t respect the original GND at all. I will not be watching the show this season, I hope it gets horrible ratings and is pulled off the air soon.

It’s not the girls next door without Holly, Kendra and Bridgette- period. People fell in love with those girls, not some replacements!
The twins are UGLY and Hef has admitted he cant tell them apart. Crystal is a drama queen and has been quoted saying “I’m not the new Holly, Holly is the old me.” Yuck- get out of here girl.. at least holly actually LOVED and CARED about Hef–so much she wanted to have his baby and get married.
The whole idea of these new girls is stupid, and the name of the show should have been changed so the rest of us who are team Holly, Kendra & Bridgette didnt get our hopes up for the return of the originals!
This is just unbelievable to me…I mean, if E! was going to make a mistake like this, they should at least make it a new show. Now The Girls Next Door’s ratings are going to go WAY down, and people are going to start remembering the show for the bitchy dingbats, not Holly, Bridget, and Kendra. The show used to be known for the lack of drama and bitches that plague other reality shows, but now it’s going to be just the same crap. Well, it was good while it lasted.
And I can’t believe how rude they are! Crystal said on the preview that she’s not the new Holly, rather Holly’s the old her. And the twins were joking about selling the peac*cks that Holly got Heff for his birthday on Ebay. They have absolutely no personality, are totally boring, and they’re not even pretty! I think Heff’s going senile…
I hope no one’s idiotic enough to watch the new season. True GND fans will boycott this. I’ll be surprised if it lasts for more than a season.

I’m a loyal to the original girls next door and have yet to watch an episode of the new dingbats trying to get their 15 minutes of fame. Not only are they ugly but they have no personality.I saw them on E news with Hef. Holly truely cared about Hef and he’s an idiot for replacing her with such trainwrecks.Good luck to Holly,Brigette and Kendra.And I hope the New Girls next door get cancelled after this seasons ratings come up short.

You know at what point, ignorant…when it gets less than the age of state law…
I’ve watched the show and all these new girls are trying way too hard to be witty, their acting is terrible, and they act slutty. I can’t stand to watch them anymore (very painful). The previous girls were naturally funny, tasteful, and they all had goals. It seems too scripted this year.
