Cynthia Nixon Is Engaged

Bust out the champagne; Sex and the City star Cynthia Nixon has gotten engaged to her longtime girlfriend, Christine Marinoni, Access Hollywood reports.

Nixon made the announcement on Saturday in New York, during the Love, Peace and Marriage Equality rally, which was held to support New York governor David Paterson's proposed bill granting legal equality to same-sex unions.

The rally, which was sponsored by BroadwayImpact.com, was also attended by David Hyde Pierce, Ana Ortiz and Nixon's Sex and the City castmate Kristen Davis.

Nixon began dating Marinoni in 2003, following her break-up with ex-husband Danny Mozes, with whom she has two children.

The actress went on to note that she and her fiancée would "definitely" tie the knot "if it became legal in New York."

Her girlfriend sure is sexy. I thought it was her teenage son in the pic with her until I read the story. Granted, Cynthia Nixon isn't exactly the hottest piece on the planet but, come on, She can do better than that mess!
