Dane Cook’s Joke About Vanessa Hudgens Edited Out Of TCAs
As we predicted yesterday, the controversial clip where Dane Cook calls out Vanessa Hudgens for her second set of nude camera-phone pics was edited out of last night’s Teen Choice Awards, which aired on Fox.
Before presenting the award for “Choice Hottie” on Sunday night where the show was being pre-recorded, Dane decided to “say what everyone in the room was thinking.”
He told the 20-year-old Disney star, “Girl, you gots to keep your clothes! Phones are for phone calls, girl.”
After the show on Sunday, Cook told Access Hollywood that the joke was a last-minute addition to his segment. “That’s the best part about being a comic when you go, ‘Maybe I can say the thing that everybody is kind of feeling and nobody [is saying].’ The elephant in the room moment. So, I’ll take it, I’ll take the hit. It’s okay.”

It was a no-brainer that they were going to cut out that joke. But the fact is now that there are mostly grown adult men looking at the naked teenage Vanessa pic on the internet.

she deffinately deserved it, if your guna take pictures like that then keep them private, you cant expect them to go public and have no one say anything.
I’m pretty sure just because she isnt CURRENTLY making a movie for them, doesn’t mean she is no longer working for Disney. HSM3 wasn’t that long ago, and god knows Disney’s made enough money off it to do more with it.
The comment was funny, even if it was at her expense. When you do slutty things as a Disney star, you cant expect someone to not call you out on it.
It is official that people are stupid. She wasn’t very famous when she took the pictures. She took them in private. She didn’t do it twice. Bottom-line is a 37 yr old shouldn’t be referring to nude images of an underage person at the teen choice awards. How dumb can people get?? Vanessa Hudgens did not deserve to be humiliated in front of thousands people just so that he could get a quick laugh. It is insensitive and hurtful and humiliating for her. He should have known better and so should everyone else. He picked out of the audience, made the statement and embarrassed. He is a grown man! He has probably done so much crap in his life. Do you people honestly think that she doesn’t know that already??? That joke was lame, unfunny and disrespectful. It is funny how many other websites all over the web thought that was disrespectful. If that was as funny as people are making out to be then he wouldn’t have been booed and left laughing there by himself. The guy needs to grow up because he looked like a school-yard bully.

Is it me, or does Disney has a horrible track record of their female stars over exposing themselves sexually? I am afraid to say this- but I am certain that they are trying to sell sex to their underage audience. Britney played a naughty half-dressed school girl in one of her videos. Christina Aguilera had very sexually suggestive lyrics (and look) as well. Vanessa took naked photos of herself while underage and now Miley acted like a slut working the poll in front of thousands of young girls at the TCA. The one thing that all these girls have in common is that they worked for Disney……….sex sells, and I think that the men in this massive multi-million dollar corporation knows this.

actually, she did do it twice. first she did the ones putting her camera on timer, two new ones just came out of her in her mirror on her cell phone.
It was completely innapropriate of him to do that. While she may have taken those photos and is at fault for that, she has had to face it twice in later years. She must be sick of being beaten down. His joke was innapropriate at the TEEN CHOICE AWARDS where young children are certainly going to watch. No one had even mentioned it until he did. She is not even of the legal age, so it is definately rude for a man amost twice her age to be commenting on it in such a rude manner. He should be seriously ashamed of himself.

This whole business about whether she “deserved” it is a load of BS, in my opinion.
It’s not like Dane Cook REALLY did anything out-of-line – he simply commented on a set of photos. Which, btw, she happens to be naked in.
At the end of the day, there’s no smoke without fire. She took the pictures, so people are gonna comment on them. She wasn’t too embarrassed to take the pictures, even though she had a squeaky-clean Disney image to maintain, so why should everyone tiptoe around her and worry about her embarrassment now?
i think it was totally horrible what he said infront of all thoes people ! the pictures are old and yeah they came out abit like her first ones but its not like she took them reccently ! she look really pissed when he said it and i think he should apologies because it was a cruel thing to do !!

Okay, I dont get the big deal, he made a joke. This is the second time Vanessa has done this so whats wrong with him saying it, is it because it was in front of thousands because Im sure they watch tv. They most likely know about it already and I understand it was done in private. But when you want to be a star privacy is a luxury you rarely get so she should be aware of that by now due to the first time.
