Daniel Radcliffe Hasn’t Seen ‘Twilight’
The stars of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince sat down for a press conference earlier this week to promote their new flick, which hits theaters next week.
The most shocking revelation? Daniel Radcliffe hasn’t seen Twilight, along with Tom Felton and David Heyman, even though the vampire series stars one of their former HP castmates, Robert Pattinson.
Radcliffe explained, “The thing that is interesting for me, is that Twilight is the only other franchise that comes close to Potter in terms of the mania that surrounds it, the attention that the leads get and just how global it is.”
So, are the two stars still friendly? DanRad admits, “I won’t pretend we’re best mates or knew each other really well but we really enjoyed working with each other, or at least I enjoyed working with him! He’s doing brilliantly, which is fantastic.”

rofl! im HAPPY i saw twilight. even though it was a low budget movie i think it was pretty. the only thing i dont like about it is that the story line was a bit different than the book, but you cant have everything perfect. :P

Lucky son of a gun. I watched maybe less than 15 min and at first I could deal with Kristen’s acting, but when Rob started talking it annoyed me so much.

In defence for Twilight, the first movie was low budget, and the script and director wasn’t that good, so it came out quite ok considering all these facts. I didn’t have high expectation, so I wasn’t disappointed.
The books are good.
I am more of the book fan, same for HP books, I preferred the books than the movies.
Of course, Hp movies, are better since they got a huge production.

i don’t think so. It all depends..i am an HP fan but i’m okay with Twilight…its okay, for other people its brilliant, and its okay too. same with HP. But most people who are neither HP or Twilight fans tend to bash Twilight more, no idea why. The books are WAY better than the movie. i did not like the film at all!!!

I am 37,married and a Mom of 4 and I lik Twilight quite a bit.I read another articule similiar to this one,in my opinion Daniel was sounding a bit jealous(don;t ask me why).My oldest was a huge Harry Potter fan then HS musical,but Twilight blew all that away! My two girls and I love Twilight, it wasn’t the greatest movie but it wasn’t the worst either.

Harry Potter is a series that has been going on since the 90s, Twilight will fade into obscurity. In a couple of years when the Twilight films have all been released noone will remember them but that wont happen with HP, which will probably fall into the same category as brilliants books like Narnia.

I don’t totally agree with you here. Reason being, people have always had a “thing” for vampires, and there is just something about the twilight saga that gets you addicted. Don’t get me wrong, the movie was a hot mess, no doubt, but the actors tried their best with what they had. I for one am glad I read the book after seeing the movie. I’m a huge HP fan, and the story will forever remain with me, but so will the Twilight saga, cuz there’s just something about vampires…..

But then again I fit that demographic and I can’t stand that twilight mess.
Daniel and the rest of the HP cast and crew have a lot more worthwhile things to do than waste their time watching a crappy film that epically fails….like, filming the last two movies of one of the greatest film franchise in history. Bah, never liked Pattinson even during the GoF days and I certainly don’t like him now. I still don’t get what people find “hot” about him…I’m not saying this because I’m in love with Radcliffe or anything because I also don’t think Dan’s too hot either, though he certainly has his down-to-earth charm going for him. Pattinson’s head is just too big for his body, methinks. Meh, who cares anyway.
Oh and to the mom here who said that she thinks Dan is a bit jealous with Rob…LMAO. Dan is the ranked hottest young star by forbes along side Miley…he earned around $50million for the last two films, the whole world (eveb the third world countries, and i am from one) knows all about Harry Potter. Can’t say the same about Rob and Twilight though =p I just don’t understand how some fanatics can assume that just because their idol is somewhat famous that the whole world should know about them. I remember a funny story about some RPrattz maniacs comparing Rob to THE Johnny Depp only to learn that Johnny doesn’t even know who the heck the poor boy is. LOLZ, that news made my week =))
Umm i used to hav a huuuuuge obsession with harry potter, but honestly, now Twilight’s here….I think it kinda wins in my opinion.
