Now that Geri Halliwell is an author and everything, it seems that she’s trying to project a more serious image.

The former Ginger Spice has ditched her trademark reddish locks in favor of a brunette hairstyle, as evidenced by these photos of her leaving her London home to promote her new children’s book, Ugenia Lavender.

Will she feel less of a kinship with her daughter Bluebell, now that she’s gone over to the dark side?

It’s hard to tell, but one thing’s for sure;  as far as hairstyle choices go, she could have done worse.
