Demi Lovato: Black and White and Cute all Over
The stable of Disney kid stars is so wide and deep that Camp Rock happy camper Demi Lovato has been almost overshadowed—but no more.
With Mouse Factory stable mates who include Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale, Selena Gomez and the mighty juggernauts of the Jonas Brothers and Miley Cyrus, a lesser performer than Demi might have been pushed back to secondary status.
But with the High School Musical cast quickly approaching graduation, and Miley Cyrus given to behaving in decidedly un-Disney ways, Selena and the Jonas clan need a fresh Magic Kingdom face to step up and join them.
Crafty Demi has already ingratiated herself with the Jonas and the Gomez power players.
Among others, Entertainment Weekly! has taken notice of Lovato, resulting in this photo set of Demi dressed like a portable checkerboard.
One question for EW!: Given Demi’s distinctive and individual talent, why give her Miley’s old haircut?
