Things are definitely looking up for Demi Lovato.
The Sonny With a Chance star and rising musical sensation performed at the Bamboozle festival in East Rutherford, New Jersey, on Sunday, in the first major festival appearance of her blossoming music career.
"It was the first festival setting for me to perform in and a busy day," Lovato writes on her Buzznet blog. "I came out rockin to a crowd that was about 20,000 according to Live Nation. The crowd grew about another 5000 by the time of the 3rd song."
Buzznet also caught up with Lovato and got her thoughts on the festival and many other aspects of her musical ascendancy. Check out a teaser from the interview below, and make sure to visit Buzznet for the full interview:

it was in East Rutherford, NJ not Irvine, California
"the crowd grew by another 5000"? REALLY? because i was at the adjacent stage and it seemed like a mass exodus toward our side of the area by the third song. she had a good time slot, yeah, but she was on just before the BIG headliners and everyone who's been to the Bamboozle knows that you get to the main stages early (i.e. during Lovato's set for the act following her).
frankly, from what i could hear, she was awful.
