Demi Lovato's Tour Fight: Shocking New Details
As Camp Rock star Demi Lovato continues to seek treatment in rehab for her personal issues, new details about the meltdown that sent her to rehab are emerging.
People magazine has the lowdown on the altercation that Lovato had with a backup dancer on her tour with the Jonas Brothers. A source close to Lovato's family reveals that the melee occurred after Lovato wandered off with a small group of her band and dancers following dinner one night on tour to do some partying. Apparently Lovato's stepfather, Eddie De La Garza, and her tour managers were none too happy to hear about the questionable conduct and confronted the revelers about it:
"When tour management found out about this, they talked to the people involved, including Demi. Demi reacted badly and perceived that someone on tour had told on her."
Lovato, angered at being snitched on, then went after the backup dancer in question, who she thought might have done the finking. According to the source, "There was a short, physical altercation" that was "one-sided."
The source concludes,
"Afterwards, Demi felt awful about her behavior and realized she needed to take personal responsibility for it. Because of this, and because of the battles Demi has fought throughout her life, both she and her family realized she needed to take steps to get help immediately."
