Diaz to Diddy: "Taste My Bread Pudding!"

Are Cameron Diaz and Sean "Diddy" Combs a romantic item?

According to the New York Daily News, the two have become extremely close. The pair have been seen dining out several times in recent months, displaying all the telltale signs of a couple looking to keep their hookup on the down-low.

But they really raised eyebrows at a backyard concert on Friday at Prince's house to celebrate the launch of his book, 21 Nights.

In front of an all-star guest list that included Sylvester Stallone, John Legend, Eddie Murphy and Babyface, Sean and Cam laughed, held hands. She even spoonfed him some of her bread pudding.

At one point, they slipped into Prince's mansion, where Diddy led Diaz by the hand into the diminutive funkateer's basement (no doubt designed for a freaky-sexy good time).

According to the Daily News, Diddy was bringing his lips to Cameron's when, realizing an interloper was approaching, they ducked into a room and began giggling.

But to hear Diddy tell it, there were no shenanigans afoot. "It is ridiculous that two celebrities of the opposite sex can't just hang out with a group of friends without it being reported as more than that," the one-man empire said.

Sure, absolutely, all the speculation stems from the fact that theirs is a mixed-gender friendship. If, for instance, it was Ben Affleck spoonfeeding bread pudding to Diddy, and they were later seen nearly kissing in a corner of Prince's house, no one would so much as blink.

Right...the level of rumormongering in this world can really be sickening.
