DJ AM: Back In L.A.?

Sep 26, 2008 at 9:19am

Contact Music is reporting that DJ AM, who is recuperating from third degree burns, has been moved from a hospital in Georgia to Los Angeles.

AM (a/k/a Adam Goldstein) was one of two survivors (along with Blink 182‘s Travis Barker) in last weekend’s terrible plane crash which killed four people.

Goldstein miraculously escaped death, but received burns to his face and head, and has been convalescing at Augusta, Georgia’s Joseph Still Burn Center.

Some reports have stated that the musical taste-maker traveled by bus from Georgia to Los Angeles.

Who, seriously, could blame him for not wanting to fly. But a journey by road for a critically injured patient seems implausible.

Watch for further details.

UPDATE

OK! Magazine reports that Goldstein was released from Doctors Hospital in Georgia, where he and Barker were receiviong treatment, today.

A statement released by his rep notes, “While he is deeply saddened by the events, he is thankful for all of the love and support he has been receiving from fans and friends world wide. We ask that you continue to respect his privacy as he rests and heals and mourns the loss of his friends.”
