DJ AM Honored with Fundraiser

Adam “DJ AM” Goldstein has touched hearts with the miracle tale of his plane crash survival in South Carolina. Now the popular disc jockey wants to touch wallets.

A welcome-home fundraiser will be held in Goldstein’s honor on October 14 in Hollywood, CA, with “proceeds going towards the memorial funds of those lost in the recent tragedy,” an official press release said.

TMobile and BPM magazine will host the bash at legendary music spot The Avalon, where several fellow spinners will join in support of Goldstein, such as Mark Ronson, Steve Aoki and Danny Masterson.

And in keeping with that VIP nonsense Goldstein can’t stand, there is no guest list—everyone pays to play.

“Before you ask there is no guestlist, no exceptions. Tickets are currently $20 each at www.wantickets.com,” the release reads.

No word yet on whether either Goldstein or fellow survivor Travis Barker will attend.
