DJ AM RIP

UPDATE: TMZ now reports that drug paraphernalia was found in DJ AM’s apartment. He reportedly hadn’t been seen by anybody for days, and when a concerned friend showed up at his home to check up and didn’t get any response, he called the police.


Adam Goldstein—better known by his professional name DJ AM—has died, TMZ reports.

According to police, Goldstein was found dead in his New York City apartment on Friday.

The cause of death is not yet known.

Goldstein, who survived a plane crash with musical collaborator Travis Barker last year, was 36.
