Doggone It, Matthew McConaughey!
Matthew McConaughey, 39, dealt with the news that his latest movie Surfer Dude was going straight to DVD by taking some time to jog and play with his dog on the beach in Malibu.
The flicks failure to find a distributor had to have been a huge blow to his ego. After all, it was the first film offering from his j.k. livin’ production company.
McConaughey hasn’t given up, though. His next film, Ghosts of Girlfriends Past, comes out in May and co-stars Jennifer Garner. Garner’s presence should help in keeping the film out of the Blockbuster bargain bin.
In Ghosts, he plays a man who is faced with the memories of past loves when he attends his younger brother’s wedding.
McConaughey also recently enjoyed some fun family travels with his companion Camila Alves, 26, and their baby boy Levi.
They visited Brazil for him to meet her family for the first time, and then toured the Grand Canyon.
Plus, if future films continue the way of Surfer Dude, he can probably do their laundry on his abs. He’ll be fine.
