Alexander Skarsgard has just gotten some pretty good company for his next movie project.

Variety reports that Dominic Purcell, James Woods and Willa Holland have just joined Skarsgard in the cast of the upcoming remake of the 1971 Sam Peckinpah film Straw Dogs.

Also starring in the film are Kate Bosworth and X-Men's James Marsden.

In the movie, Marsden will play a Hollywood screenwriter who accompanies his wife (Bosworth) on a trip back to her hometown. Skarsgard will play a former football player and Bosworth's ex-boyfriend, who sees her return as a chance to reclaim former glory.

Filming for the movie begins in Shreveport, Lousiana, this month.
