Drew Barrymore Dating Update: On-Set Romance?

Drew Barrymore's dating plot has just thickened.

On Monday the habitual girlfriend got the world wondering if she's already moved on from Justin Long (via Ed Westwick, Chace Crawford and Landon Pigg), when CELEBUZZ learned that the actress enjoyed a cozy coffee date with producer Barry Mendel.

Now Mendel, working alongside Barrymore for her directorial debut Whip It!, has taken to the Internet to show Drew a little love.

On his personal Web site, Mendel posted a small gallery of photos from the Whip It! set, showing he and Drew snuggling up to camera equipment and goofing with the cast and crew.

What's more, both reps for Barrymore and Mendel's official production company have no comment on a possible romance.

Perhaps no news is good news for new love?

Not if you ask Drew herself. The twice-divorced star says in the new issue of Harper's Bazaar she's, um, happier single.

"My priorities have changed so much," she told the mag, "I've been single for months now and I've turned my attention toward my passions...It's been about learning who I am, not through a man, but for myself."

You'll have to take Drew's word on that one.
