Jamie Spears banks $2,500 a month as a paid employee of wayward daughter Britney Spears, and the man earns every penny.
“I was with Britney on a near-twenty-four-hour basis to ensure her safety and well-being,” say court documents petitioning for an increase. “During the times I was not with her, I was arranging, coordinating or managing her medical and legal affairs, including buying groceries and cooking supper…I arranged for Britney’s transport and security to go shopping.”
It gets worse: “I spent a good deal of every day conversing with Britney.”
Oh, the horrors!
More money might not help. Maybe Jamie needs to join a support group of parents whose situations are even worse than his own.
