The ‘Ebony’ Art Director Deserves a Raise

Wow, the miracles of technology just never cease.
Venerated magazine Ebony boasts tennis star Serena Williams on its July cover, and somehow—airbrushing, Vaseline on the lens, voodoo—they manage to make the five-foot-nine court goliath seem palatable delicate in a swimsuit.
According to stylist Melissa Meister, the photo shoot (check out the video right here), which took place in Malibu, was aiming for certain aesthetic: “a ’50s glam, kind of a little bit of retro Vargas girl.”
Frankly, it’s quite the accomplishment that she’s looking prettier than Sugar Ray Leonard would in drag.
And she also holds her own with any ten of Hollywood’s most glamorous burly girlies.
Whatever, she’s tall, strong, healthy and kicks tons of ass. Go SERENA!

She looks amazing. Tennis players have really great bods, they just don’t flaunt them.
