Kirsten Prout is looking forward to sinking her teeth into a bad-girl role.

The Eclipse actress—who was cast last week to play newborn vampire Lucy in the upcoming Twilight sequel—tells Entertainment Tonight Canada that, after playing good girl Amanda Bloom on Kyle XY, she’s eager to take on a performance with a little more bite.

Says Prout,

“The character is extremely predatory and what’s amazing about playing a vampire is you are a predator and you lure in your prey and then you turn on them.”

You don’t have to be a vampire to do that, Kirsten. That happens a lot in the mortal world too.
