It's already known that Taylor Swift is an emotional person. But now she's joined the ranks of the intellectuals too.

People magazine reports that the country-music sensation recently received her high-school diploma in the mail, and she couldn't be happier.

"Graduating high school is really, really cool," the "Picture to Burn" belter tells the magazine. "You don't have to give up on your dreams to graduate high school, and you don't have to quit your education to live your dreams."

Swift also used the interview to dispel rumors that she's romantically involved with Jonas Brothers frontman Joe Jonas.

"We're all friends," Swift clarifies.

Not hooking up with a virginity poster boy whose idea of a wild time involves a rousing game of Pictionary?

Now that is a smart gal.
