Good news, Elisha Cuthbert fans! The hockey groupie and friend of the downtrodden is reprising her role as Kim Bauer for the upcoming season of 24.

Entertainment Weekly‘s Michael Ausiello reports, “Sources confirm to me exclusively that Cuthbert has inked a deal to reprise her role as Jack’s lightning rod of an offspring for a season-ending arc.”

Adding a MILF-tastic element to the return, the Kim Bauer character will have a child of her own in the episodes. (Huh; wonder if becoming a grandfather will slow Jack Bauer down.)

Awesome! Cuthbert’s 2006 exit from the action drama left the show with a series deficit of sexy.

And perhaps she can serve as Kiefer Sutherland‘s designated driver at the season wrap party.
