Now Ellen DeGeneres really has something to sing about.
People magazine reports that the comedienne and talk-show host has signed on for a beauty campaign as the face of makeup company CoverGirl and Olay's newest product, Simply Ageless Foundation.
The campaign's series of print and television ads will hit magazines and boob tubes in January 2009.
"I'm thrilled to be a CoverGirl," DeGeneres says of the deal. "I've been practicing in my bathroom mirror for years….Now finally, you’ll all be able to see it."
Simply Ageless Foundation is a revolutionary anti-aging makeup that stays suspended over fine lines and wrinkles, rather than settling into them.
If a face cream lodges in crevices, the user's face will take on an older appearance—which somewhat defeats the purpose of using an anti-aging cream.
Not that Ellen needs it; at 50 years old, she's holding up remarkably well.
But with a wife who's 15 years her junior, a gal can use all the help she can get.
