Emily Osment: Meet the Disney

Her older brother, Haley Joel Osment, had his time to shine in 1999's The Sixth Sense, but these days are all about Emily Osment.

Born in Los Angeles on March 10, 1992, Emily was cast in commercials and small films until she got her big break in the mega-successful Spy Kids franchise. Afterwards, Disney saw her potential and cast her as Miley Cyrus' best friend, 'Lilly Truscott', on the hit show Hannah Montana. She plays Hannah's best friend, and, yes, she's friends with her in real life. She even taught the daddy's girl how to strip knit!

Like other Disney stars, Emily has ventured away from simply acting, and is an aspiring singer and songwriter. While she landed hits like "I Don't Have To Think About It" and "If I Didn't Have You," which she recorded with her co-star Mitchel Musso, she has spoken publicly about taking her career in a different direction. She wants to record an Indie rock album seperate from Disney, which will showcase her as more than a bubble-gum pop teen.
