Eminem to Open the VMAs
For the last decade, Eminem has had a strong presence at MTV award shows, winning numerous awards and falling victim to pranks by Triumph the Insult Comic Dog and Sacha Baron Cohen’s exposed butt, but this Sunday’s VMAs will mark the first time the rapper will perform as the award ceremony’s opening act.
The show’s opening slot is always reserved for pop music’s most illustrious stars. Last year began with a tribute to Michael Jackson featuring Janet Jackson. 2003 was famously kicked-off by Britney Spears, Madonna, and Christina Aguilera making out.

You don’t sell 750,000 albums opening week if you are overrated. Especially in this day and age. Yes, the new Eminem isn’t the same as he was almost A DECADE ago. If he was still bleaching his hair and rhyming about the same stuff it would be played out. He has grown up and grown older, what do you expect from him? Stop going against the grain to try and prove how cool you are. It’s the internet where anyone can say anything, your comments on the quality of anyone else’s music is anything but credible. So get off this site, turn on Recovery and listen. It’s a fantastic album, especially in the era of hip hop where trash is a very common thing to find. Eminem is anything but that.

Em is one of the best not the best. and just becuase you sell alot of records doesn’t mean your good it just means you have a big fan base talent has nothing to do with it. even so em still is nice but the album ain’t as hot as his old sh*t. OH, and nas is the best rapper alive, listen to illmatic, stillmatic, and godson, Classic.
