Emma Watson Announces Break From Acting, Talks About Kissing Rupert Grint

Sorry, Emma Watson fans; it looks like you're going to be experiencing a cinematic drought of your favorite actress before too long.

The Telegraph reports that Watson is planning to put the brakes on her acting career after she wraps up Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows and its sequel, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows II.

Watson is setting aside the acting so that she can focus on college, which she's due to begin in September. And from the sound of it, she won't miss the limelight at all.

"I want to forget about hair and makeup," Watson notes. "Sometimes on a publicity tour I can't remember what time it is, what country I'm in."

If she decides to hold off on acting again until graduation, Watson's admirers could be looking at a four-year gap between screen projects. Can they possibly wait that long?

At least in the meantime they have the Deathly Hallows films to look forward to—and the much-anticipated kissing scene between herself and co-star Rupert Grint, which she has also revealed some details about.

"We did it two weeks ago," Watson reveals. "Four takes one way and two takes with the camera in the other direction. Six takes altogether."

Wonder if Grint deliberately flubbed the scene so they'd have to do more takes.

Awesome!! I love her! She deserves a break...she's been acting since she was 9 years old! I love how both Emma and Rupert talk about their kiss like it's a bad memory. lol.

too bad that they had done the kissing scene, if they haven't i would be gladly be emma's stunt to kiss rupert, LOL
