Emma Watson 'Embarrased and Confused' About Being Sexy

Out of all the expectations weighing on actresses these days, Emma Watson, star of the Harry Potter series, hates the pressure to sex it up.

"I find this whole thing about being 18 and everyone expecting me to be this object," Watson tells the UK's Daily Mail Live magazine. "I find the whole concept of being ‘sexy’ embarrassing and confusing."

While Watson may feel that way, she certainly seemed in full control of her wiles at the end of last summer. Shots of the actress frolicking in a bikini with financier Jay Barrymore surfaced last August, thanks to a Facebook hack of Anna Wintour's daughter Bee Shaffer.

Regardless, Live's accompanying photo shoot with the interview features a much more modest Watson looking cute and glam.

"I know everyone wants a picture of me in a mini-skirt, but that’s not me. I feel uncomfortable...It’s nothing to do with protecting the Hermione image," Watson said.

The image in question is the bookish—and increasingly babe-ish—Hermoine Granger, a trusted sidekick to Daniel Radcliffe's Harry Potter. In keeping with her character's affinity for knowledge, Watson herself said she wants to continue her education, blockbuster movies or not.

"Jodie Foster did it, Natalie Portman did it," Watson said of attending college while working.

Just don't ask her to pose as a naughty schoolgirl.

Meanwhile, Harry Potter & The Half-Blood Prince hits theaters this July. It's the penultimate flick before the two-part finale, Harry Potter & The Deathly Hallows.
