If Emma Watson thought she was getting unwanted attention from the male students of Brown University already, he probably hasn’t seen anything yet.
The 19-year-old Harry Potter actress has reportedly split up with her long-term boyfriend, 28-year-old financier Jay Barrymore, whom she’d been dating since 2008. According to a source, the relationship has been on thin ice for a while, and the distance created by Watson’s decision to attend Brown in Rhode Island was the final breaking point:
“Emma and Jay were in trouble for months and with Emma at Brown University in America, the transatlantic gap proved too much for their relationship to survive.”

I find this hard to believe. Unless it comes from Emma’s mouth then I won’t believe. The press has been reporting they were broken up since they’ve been together.

Emma is an amazing person and I think she does a wonderful job keeping her private life out of the press. If she dates someone, then I’m sure he will be a wonderful guy. She’s intelligent so there’s no way she would pick some loser.

i think she should date either Rupert Grint or Tom Felton !! But Tom has been dating since 2008 too :) so he is happy where he is right now !! I just wish he realized she liked him and had a crush on him, i know he knows this !! wish dey both dated coz he was into her too, and she and rupert definietly had a great connection :) but i wish her all the best ! She is such a nice person, so humble, beautiful and talented ! She will be fine with whatever decision she makes :D
