The red carpet of the 60th Annual Emmy Awards was a sea of bright colors, flowing gowns, and your favorite primetime television stars.

The Emmys have a reputation for elegance and glamour, and 2008's show certainly maintained the standard. 

Hayden Panettiere looked mature and sophisticated in her floor-length, beaded Badgley Mischka gown. Perhaps there was a certain someone beyond the crowds of onlookers and throngs of paparazzi she was trying to impress. 

Mariska Hargitay took the recent bright color trend to a level all her own with her marigold, Carolina Herrera gown. 

Not all Emmy attendees were visions of delight though; some guests went just a bit too far in the outfit department. 

Phoebe Price, in classic Phoebe fashion, combined the hippie/Victoria's Secret look with her perfectly see-through dress and flower child headband.

Jennifer Love Hewitt's over-the-top hairdo and snake-patterned dress lost all the points she'd gained with her newly slimmed-down bod.

    Oh Damn!!.....Hayden Panettiere looks SO DAMN GOOD in that picture with her Navy Beaded Gown,even though Mariska Hargitay and Olivia Wilde both also looks SO GREAT in their own gowns as well I personally think that Hayden pulled off looking SO MUCH BETTER than the other two Gorgeous women looked in their* pictures.
