¡Viva la wardrobe!

Desperate Housewives actress Eva Longoria-Parker hosted the National Council for La Raza's 2008 ALMA Awards last night in Pasadena, California, turning the celebration of Latino achievement into a showcase for her own expansive—and expensive—fashion sense.

Longoria-Parker made 10 wardrobe changes throughout the ceremony, transitioning from a teal shift dress to a red Grecian gown to a strapless blue dress, among others.

Along with special musical performances by Prince and Beyoncé (huh?), the ALMAs honored George Lopez with a Special Achievement in Television award and Los Lobos with Pioneer in Music accolades. Other honorees included High School Musical II director Kenny Ortega (who received moral support from HSM-ers Zac Efron and Ashley Tisdale).

Puzzlingly, Chelsea Handler's hard-working sidekick Chuy Bravo failed to take home any trophies. Re-count! Re-count!
