You can call Eva Mendes a lot of things—wicked-sexy among them—but don't call her the next Jennifer Lopez.

The Training Day actress and avid sex tourist can't stand it when people liken her to the Scientology sympathizer and recent triathlete. 

"I would like to think I will have a more serious career than J.Lo," Mendes says, according to Star Pulse. "We may both be of Latin origin, but that's where the comparisons stop. She manages her career like the head of a big corporation, whereas the only thing I care about is becoming the best actress possible."

Whoa; careful what you say, Eva. Lopez may have experienced some shocking lows recently, but she has for own formula for success.

Besides, you don't have to knock other people down to build up your own recognition. There are other methods for getting your face out there.

    You definitely don't want to be J.Lo, Eva. I was J.Lo once, and the chafing I suffered from my ass dragging on the sidewalk still haunts me.
