EXCLUSIVE PICS: Taylor Momsen Gets Pretty Reckless in Dallas

Taking a break from her duties as the Girl Who Plays Jenny on Gossip Girl, Taylor Momsen took the stage at the House of Blues in Dallas on Wednesday night, rocking the place to its very core with her band, the Pretty Reckless.

Momsen is currently on tour with the band (who are opening for Aussie sensations The Veronicas) and, even at the tender age of 15, she's handling the rock 'n' roll thing like a seasoned pro, according to Buzznet.

"Her vocals projected as mature and as loud as a Joan Jett performance," the site reports of Momsen's Dallas performance.

Whoa; maybe the producers of the upcoming Jett biopic The Runaways hired the wrong girl.

I was completely surprised when I heard Taylor Momsen. Now I'm obsessed with The Pretty Reckless. I can't wait for her new album. I really can't. And as for style... I'm 15 too, and I would wear some of those clothes. Some of them are a little inappropriate but some of her clothes are super cute. I like that she's real, and not trying to be perfect and sweet like those Disney girls.
