Vanessa Hudgens‘ new movie Bandslam, about an epic battle of the bands, hits the big screen on August 14, and we have an exclusive clip of the movie for you right here, right now!
Check out the scene below, in which Hudgens (playing the curiously named Sa5m) introduces herself to new kid in town Will Burton (ably portrayed by Gaelan Connell) and explains that musical competition in their high school is serious, serious business.

Before anyone goes on bashing this film, it is for teenagers. If you’re an adult and you think it is stupid that is fair because it is not for you.
Secondly this movie was filmed almost two years ago and is being released now by Summit Entertainment. That is why Vanessa looks so young.
This movie is getting really good reviews. Most of the critics have said that it is a surprisingly fun film that a lot of people including adults will enjoy if they give it a chance.
I am excited to see Bandslam when it comes out in Australia August 13th.
