It’s a Family-Outing Sunday for Simon Baker
Blonde Australian heartthrob Simon Baker and his wife Rebecca Rigg, 41, a fellow Aussie, brought their kids out to dinner yesterday in the ritzy Brentwood area of Los Angeles.
Keeping with the tradition of actors choosing eyebrow-raising names for their children, the Baker/Riggs clan consists of Stella Breeze, Claude Blue and Harry Friday.
Baker, 39, and his wife looked sharp in their casual Sunday attire as they chatted with friends before taking off from the restaurant.
Both Nicole Kidman and Naomi Watts—who also hail from Australia—are godmothers to Simon and Rebecca’s youngsters.
Meanwhile, doting dad Simon saw his hit CBS series The Mentalist pick up the prize for Favorite New TV Drama at the People’s Choice Awards two weeks ago.
The highly-rated series has been a favorite among viewers this past television season.
The rugged but dashing Baker played rugged and dashing journalist Christian Thompson in The Devil Wears Prada. Baker’s character is the dude who steals the affections of Anne Hathaway away from her onscreen boyfriend, Entourage‘s Adrian Grenier. Give The Mentalist a couple of more hit seasons, and Simon might steal away some of Adrian’s TV luster as well.
Either way, the show has made sure that Simon can afford to treat his entire family out to dinner for many more Sundays to come!
