UPDATE: Apparently, Farrah Fawcett's medical situation is both worse and better than initially reported.

According to Us Magazine, Fawcett's cancer has spread to her liver. The good news is, her condition is not as serious as initially believed.

Fawcett's doctor, cancer specialist Dr. Lawrence Piro—reports that Fawcett had undergone a "minor procedure" in Germany that "led to a small amount of bleeding into a muscle in her abdominal wall." Contrary to initial reports that Fawcett was unconscious, Piro notes, "She remains in good spirits with her usual sense of humor...If everything goes as we hope, we plan to discharge her later in the week.

Former Charlie's Angels star Farrah Fawcett, who has been battling cancer on and off again since 2006, has been hospitalized and is in critical condition, according to Radar Online.

The 62-year-old actress, who recently returned from Germany, where she received experimental stem-cell treatment, checked into a Los Angeles-area hospital on Thursday and is said to be in critical but stable condition. According to sources, she is unconscious.

Fawcett's long-time, on-and-off beau Ryan O'Neal and their son Redmond have been at the actress' bedside.

Fawcett was first diagnosed with anal cancer in 2006. After radiation therapy, doctors declared that she was cancer-free in February 2007, but the illness returned that May.
