In these uncertain financial times, even Fergie and Josh Duhamel are being forced to economize.

The 33-year-old Black Eyed Peas singer and her 36-year-old fiancé—who are tying the knot this Saturday after dating for four years—held a joint bachelor/bachelorette party at the Dakota Lounge in Santa Monica, California, last night.

"They wanted a more tame party and wanted to do it together," an insider tells In Touch magazine.

Which doesn't mean that the event was all punch and cookies. Fergie—who's been working her buns off to shed the 13 pounds she put on for the upcoming movie Nine in time for the wedding—apparently scored some randy schwag from her gal-pals.

"She's getting plenty of naughty gifts from all her girlfriends," the source adds.

No word on whether the couple cut back on the stripper budget by having the bride-to-be bust out her own bump-and-grind moves instead.

    Fergie's pretty fit, but judging from her face she appears to have a significant amount of reptile DNA in her.
