Fergie Increases Her Star Power

Black Eyed Peas sex bomb Fergie might be a bigger star than ever, but she was no match for the heavenly body she encountered in New York's Rockefeller Center this morning.

The 33-year-old singer officially unveiled the glittering creation that will top this year's Christmas tree at the center today.

Designed by crystal maker Swarovski, the mammoth ornament is made of more than 25,000 crystals and weighs in at 550 pounds—the largest ever to grace the top of the Rock's Christmas tree.

Smaller but no less impressive, the star ornament that Fergie (born Stacy Ferguson) herself designed was also unveiled today.

Dubbed "Hope 2008," the ornament will be auctioned off to benefit the Clothes Off Our Back charity. The foundation was established by actors Bradley Whitford (The West Wing) and Jane Kaczmarek (Malcolm in the Middle), and benefits children's causes.

Other celebrities to design stars for the auction this year include Ellen Degeneres and Jennifer Garner.
