Goodness knows, Fergie's performances aren't always the most kid-friendly affairs. But the Black Eyed Peas frontwoman is making an effort to clean up her act, for the children's sake.
"I wasn't trying to be a role with [her 2006 solo album] The Dutchess," the recently wed songbird admits in the new issue of Marie Claire. But after "seeing little girls in the audience with their moms. [It] made me think about what I do onstage a little bit more. I had to watch my mouth, because it can be filthy."
Good for you, Fergie! And who knows? Maybe you'll inspire a certain gossip-maven detractor of yours to watch his mouth as well.

I am glad that she is taking responsibility for her actions, but it is really up to parents to take responsibility to what their children listen to not the artist.
Hey you know what, you're right. It is a aparents job to monitor what their kids listen to and watch on TV for that matter. But then again, hearing a string of 20 swear words within 3 minutes, is that entertaining to you? Hey one or two swear words may be ok, because of getting caught up in the emotions, but to make it part of your act like Whoopi Goldberg, eddie murphy ets, these live stand up comics do nothing but swear. I have watched Sinbad and been entertained with plenty of laughs and guess what, NO swear words..So it can be done
