i pictured jane a lot different. dakota looks like a grandma she is dressed and her hair is just like an old woman. but im sure she is going to be fine… I CANT WAIT TO SEE NEW MOON!!!!!!

I expected her to look girlier and somewhat ‘cuter’ and feminine. Remember, she was supposed to look like a little girl. Not a strict school marm. Yes spooky, but the whole “little girl” thing makes the red eyes and glare even spookier. Not sure I like the look.

I hate to tell you this, but Dakota Fanning hasn’t played a “sweet little girl”- or been one- since 2006. After she became instrumental in bringing child porn to theaters at the age of 12, what’s left for her but more degradation? Playing an undead vampire is small potatoes for her in comparison. Wait’ll “The Runaways” comes to town. That will complement “Hounddog” just fine! And by running around with Kristen Stewart to Hollywood nightspots while still 15 (her parents having obviously ceased to care, as long as the money keeps flowing) her descent into another young crreature of Hollywood is practically assured. How long before she gets carted off to rehab (like Lindsey Lohan), the nuthouse (Britney Spears) or the morgue (River Phoenix)? She WAS the dearest and most hopeful prospect of something good out of Hollywood. Now… she’s just another casualty waiting to happen.

That’s probably not the ‘complete’ look. This is a behind the scenes picture so she’s probably not wearing her wig. She should have a wig of some sort because Jane is a brunette. The clue that she has a wig is that her hair is tightly pulled back. ^.^ I’m glad Dakota is playing Jane though; she does creepy well.

well her make up is ok but i think her hair should have been left down,because in the book she has an angel face, and her blonde hair is one of the things bella noticed. but i cnt see any blonde girl with that hair.Long straiight hair would be better with a black make up

she doesnt look like jane would at all the entire outfit just makes her look weird plus the hair you might be able to make the outfit work without the stupid bow and the hair thought maybe down with alittle something done to it but not up im not really sure im excited about seeing her as jane.

In the most recent posters, they have her with dark hair so I think her hair is pulled back so they can put a wig on her.

ok well see i pictured her in a long cloke like it said in the book. and she was suppose to be older but have a child like voice, i donno i heard their putting alot of new scenes into the movie that werent in the book again. Still cant wait

What the heck? Isn’t jane supposed to have short black hair? And jane is supposed to be older too. They are messing up the movie. And they shouldn’t make a famous person play jane because they will just think “oh, that’s Dakota Fanning playing Jane” when they should just get a person that’s not well known, and people think of the person as just “Jane” why do they mess up movie like that?

Are you kidding me? Dakota Fanning had a role in Hounddog, yes. The movie portrays a young teenager raping an even younger girl, yes. But that can hardly be describe as child pornography. Not only does the actual scene show only in bits and flashes, during which no nudity or violence is witnessed, but the actual script itself reads that “All violence and/or nudity is implied”.

Clearly you’ve never actually been unfortunate enough to have to see anything pornographic in nature concerning children, because THAT is not what it looks like. And as for Dakota falling into darkness because she plays a vampire…get real. Hounddog is not child pornography. Twilight is about as innocent a series as there can be, especially concerning vampires and teenagers. And you…

i never really read the book, i just watched the movies because im not a big reader…but i thought that dakota looked very good in new moon and the red eyes were really kool..but im sure that if i would have read the books,i could dissagree with myself..lol

i love her voices and sh is so beautiful and i watch her play in uptown girl she is a good actress. i wish she was my sister!!! she’s so funny lol!

they did an amazing job with her hair and make-up. she’s only young, and she looks so much older, when i first saw new moon, i didn’t know who she was, but i thought she was much older than she actually is in real life. does anyone agree?
