First Look At Johnny Depp In 'Alice In Wonderland'

Oh, hello there Johnny Depp!

Feast your eyes on the new production stills for the Tim Burton-directed remake of Alice in Wonderland.

Producer Richard Zanuck describes the new film, which will be in 3d, as "Burton-ized." He explained, "We finished shooting in December after only 40 days," before they combined the live action with CG animation and motion-capture creatures, and then transferred into 3-D.

How cool does Depp look as the Mad Hatter?

Zanuck only had high praise for the actor, saying he went "off his rocker" and employed an "indescribable" accent. He added, "He is so much fun and so nutty, I can't imagine anyone else doing it."

The film hits theatres on March 5, 2010.

love Depp, but this costume is too much. Holloywood is so busy trying to out-do originalmovies and thei is what we get? He looked like the Mad Hatter on dope. I don't like it. Are all the othe charcters going to look this excseeive too? And will we have a hige double D blong grown ass woman planign Alic? Whatever. Come up with soem new ideas. Stop with theh the re makes. They suck!

One, learn to spell. Two, it's not a remake - for there to be a remake it would have to be an original concept that has been done prior. Alice in Wonderful has been done before, and Burton's version is based off the book (like his Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory), not off some "original" production.

AMAZING im a huge Tim Burton Fan(hes a genius) and Johnny Depp is my favourite actor because he fits into any roll you throw at him.
This is going to be great and this is not a remake at all it is Burtons perception of the original novel.

ok...I LOVE me some Johnny Depp, and his collaborations with Tim Burton are ALWAYS great, but....... I would REALLY LOVE to see Johnny tone it down and play just a "NORMAL" guy for a change. We have seen him play the CRAZY roles enough already, he needs to give us some romance already!
